How long can I store it for? Can I freeze it?
1. Do I have to eat my food straight away or can I freeze it?

Our recipes can be kept in the fridge for 1 day after delivery. So, if your pasta is delivered on a Monday it should be consumed by the end of Tuesday.

Alternatively, freeze your recipe on the day of delivery for up to a month. Your recipe card will include details on how to defrost your dishes safely.

As general guidelines, to prepare frozen fresh pasta, cook directly from frozen and allow slightly longer (usually around 1-2 minutes more) in the boiling water. For lasagne/oven pasta, defrost it overnight in the fridge and follow the cooking time. Our sauces should be defrosted overnight in the fridge, or in a microwave for 2 minutes.

2. Can I freeze cooked recipes?

You can freeze your cooked recipes, too. Make sure these recipes have cooled to room temperature within an hour of cooking before you freeze them, and use within one month of freezing. When reheating, your recipe card will have full instructions for how to cook your meals from frozen, and if you misplace this you can find a digital copy below.
Are there vegetarian/vegan/gluten free recipes?
Yes, on all our weekly menus! Vegetarian recipes include "(Vegetarian)" at the end of the title on our online menu, Vegan recipes include "(Vegan)", and Gluten Free recipes include "(Gluten Free"). Buon appetito!

What if I'm not home for delivery?
No problem. Just let us know a safe place for your delivery driver to leave your order, then collect it when you get home. It’s really easy to do this, here's how:

Subscription: We save your most recent delivery instructions on your account, and this will be added to each new subscription order. If you ever want to update your instructions, simply log into your account, select the 'My Subscriptions' tab, click 'Edit' under 'Delivery Details', and update your delivery instructions from the drop-down list or select 'Other' to enter your own safe place.

One-off order: When placing your order we will ask you for any special delivery instructions at checkout. Simply tap the dropdown bar and either select the option that suits you best, or select other and type your instructions in the box.

Where do you deliver?
We deliver across the UK, 7 days a week, including Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and Hebrides.

Unfortunately, if you live in the Scottish Highlands or outside mainland Britain (e.g. Northern Ireland or Channel Islands), we aren’t able to deliver to you on a Monday or Sunday.
Do you deliver on bank holidays?
We currently only deliver in Central London during bank holidays, as our delivery partner outside of London does not deliver on these days.
What if I'm not home for delivery?

We work closely with our delivery partners to ensure every order is delivered to you on time. If your pasta has not been delivered to your designated address by 8pm on the delivery day you selected, please let us know.

how do i track my order?
DPD: The day before delivery we will send you an email with a link to track your order. On delivery day, you will also receive email updates about your order.

YODEL: On delivery day, you will receive an email with a link to track your order. If you have a mobile contact number, you will also receive SMS alerts from Yodel. Kindly note that Yodel deliver between 7 AM and 9 PM.

Central London: On delivery day, we will send you an email once your pasta has been collected by one of our drivers. If your contact number is a mobile number, you will receive an SMS alert when the driver is close.
what time will my order arrive?
We aim to have all of our deliveries complete by 20:30 each day.

You will receive an ETA on the day of delivery either by email or text message. If a delay is expected, we will get in touch to let you know.

If you aren't home, your parcel will be waiting in a safe place for when you get back.
Will the box fit through my letterbox?
If you have a standard size letterbox and live in Central London (roughly Zones 1-3), our box will fit through your letterbox.

If it doesn't, don't worry - when you order, we'll ask you for a safe spot where we can leave your box in the event we can't post it through your letterbox.

If you live outside of central London, you will receive your pasta in a larger, insulated parcel. This is designed to keep your pasta fresh at all times and can be left in a safe space if you are not at home at the time of delivery.

In short, yes!

If you live outside of Central London, order before 2pm and we'll be able to freshly produce your pasta in time for delivery the following day.

If you live within Central London, order before 8am for same day delivery.

CAN I RECYCLE THE PACKAGING?
At Pasta Evangelists, we do everything we can engage sustainably & responsibly with the world around us.

Our boxes are made from 100% recyclable cardboard, and any plastic within your box (e.g. for our sauces, or garnish pots) can also go in the recycling bin.

At present, the only packaging that cannot be recycled is our ice packs (we're working on this!). However, you can freeze these and you can use them at your next picnic.

Alternatively, contact our customer care team & we'll happily provide you a return label, free of charge, for you to send these back to us for reuse.

If you live outside of Central London, you will also receive our washed & recycled denim-based liner. This keeps your pasta chilled for up to 50 hours and is also vegan & food safe, being a waste product from the fashion industry.

Where can I find a list of allergens?
Pasta Evangelists handles all 14 allergens prescribed in government guidelines.

Whilst we have strict food safety measures & procedures in place, and take great care when preparing orders for our customers, we are, as a small business, unable to guarantee that there will be no traces of an allergen in your order.

If you have any concerns about an allergy, please contact us at chef@pastaevangelists.com ahead of placing your order for further information.

How do I prepare it?
As long as you’ve got a pan & boiling water, you’re all set! It only takes 3-5 minutes to cook the fresh pasta. The sauce only needs a couple of minutes to be heated through in a large pan until steaming. Combine the drained pasta with the heated sauce, then top with the garnish.

WHAT IS THE white powder on my pasta?
As our pasta is a freshly made, artisan product, it can sometimes stick together. To limit this from happening, we coat the pasta with rice flour. If you have an excess of this on your pasta, simply shake it off before adding to your boiling water.
How do I give feedback on the recipes?
As a small business, we love to hear any feedback you might have about our recipes, or ideas & requests for future menus.

THE RECIPE I WANT IS SOLD OUT
We do our best to forecast how many servings of a recipe we'll need to satisfy demand. Occasionally, one or two dishes are particularly popular and sell out. This is normally on a Friday, or very rarely Thursday, when we begin switching production to the following week's recipes.

We therefore recommend placing your order as early as possible in the week for maximum choice. If you are a subscriber and you see that a recipe you've chosen for your delivery is sold out on our website, don't worry: these are reserved for you.

For both one-off orders and subscription orders you are able to order up to 3 weeks in advance.

If you have a subscription, it is easy to manage your orders. Simply log into your account, select 'My Subscriptions', and then choose the recipes you'd like to receive in your upcoming deliveries.

How do I start a subscription?
You'll be able to choose to subscribe when placing an order with us. Just ensure the 'Subscribe & Save' toggle is turned on when you're viewing our menu - it will appear in orange to show you've selected to subscribe. You'll receive a 10% discount on your order as well as free delivery for choosing this option.

Once you've selected the recipes for your first subscription delivery/deliveries, we'll ask how often you want to receive a delivery going forward. Whether weekly, fortnightly or monthly, this is completely up to you.

When you've confirmed your order, you'll be able to log in to your account and manage your subscription, including adding dietary preferences and picking dishes for future deliveries.

Our subscriptions are commitment-free and can be cancelled at any time.

CAN I CHOOSE THE RECIPES YOU SEND ME?
Of course! Ahead of each delivery, we'll email you to let you know which dishes our chef is planning to send you (based on the dietary preferences you give us when setting up your subscription).

You'll be able to amend the choices if you'd prefer something else.

If you don’t eat seafood, no problem: simply untick this preference box in your account and our chef will never select seafood recipes to send you.
WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED FOR MY DELIVERIES?
If you hold a subscription with us you will be billed 48 hours before you are due to receive your delivery.

Please note: all of our subscriptions will automatically renew, but you can pause or cancel your subscription at anytime.
HOW DO I SKIP A DELIVERY?
Log into your account, click on the delivery date you would like to skip and you'll be given the option to skip this delivery.

If you do this in error, simply click on the date again to let us know you'd like a delivery that week.

Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Our subscriptions are commitment-free.

Going on holiday? We recommend pausing your subscription for as many weeks as you wish.

Still wish to cancel? No problem - just log into your account and you can cancel online. You can also change the delivery frequency if you'd simply like to receive a delivery less often.

Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all credit card or debit card with the Visa, Mastercard or American Express logos. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Paypal at this time.
How do I update the email address on my account?
Please contact us at chef@pastaevangelists.com & we'll happily update your email address for you.
I’ve received an email with recipes I haven’t chosen, what do I do?
If you don't choose recipes for your upcoming delivery within your account, our chefs will choose recipes they think you'll like based on your preferences.

You can always log into your account and change these choices up before the cut off time stated in the email advising you of our chef's choices for you.

If you would like to skip this delivery, simply follow the link in the email, tap the date and click 'skip'.

There was an error with billing
If a payment fails, you will receive a billing error email from us. You will also see an error message when you log into your Pasta Evangelists account.

There are many reasons billing might be unsuccessful, and so we always suggest contacting your bank first if you are unsure why this might have happened.

We will automatically try and take the payment again at 10am the following morning. This gives you time to update your card details if these have expired.

If you no longer see an error in your account, billing has been successful. For customer security, please also be sure that your billing address in your account is identical to the one associated with your card.

How do I see my order history?
If you would like to see your order history, simply log into your account and you will see an itemised list of each of your orders.

What’s the difference between pausing and skipping?
You can prevent a delivery by pausing or skipping. Here's the difference:

Pausing your subscription: When you pause your subscription, this will put all of your future upcoming orders on hold, meaning that orders will not automatically be generated to be delivered at your chosen frequency.

Skipping a delivery: If you choose to skip a specific delivery, we will not send you pasta on the day/s that you have skipped. Your subscription orders will continue as normal once the skipped date/s have passed.

In both cases, kindly note that, if you have an upcoming delivery, you will need to pause your subscription by 0:00 the day before this delivery to ensure that no payment is taken.

How do I change my delivery day?
To change your preferred delivery day (i.e. for all future deliveries):
Log into your account, visit 'My Subscriptions', select 'Change Delivery Preferences' and choose your preferred delivery day and frequency. Once confirmed, this change will automatically reflect on your calendar.

To change the day of a specific delivery, but not your default delivery day:
Log into your account, visit 'My Subscriptions', find the week of the delivery in question and click on the new day you'd like to receive the delivery. You will see your calendar change, confirming this. If you have already selected your meals for that week, they will remain the same, but just have a new delivery date. You can double-check this by scrolling down to 'Upcoming Deliveries'.

What's the cut-off time to choose my recipes / edit my order?
You are able to edit upcoming orders up to 0:00am the day before your scheduled delivery. To do so, log into your account, visit 'My Subscriptions', and scroll down to 'Upcoming Deliveries'.

Here, you'll also be able to let us know what you'd like to receive in future deliveries.

Payment will be taken at around 02:00am the day before delivery.

Why haven’t I received any reminder emails?
You should receive a reminder email 2 days before your next scheduled delivery with information about the recipes our chef is planning to send you.

If you haven’t received this, please check that the email address you used to register with us is correct.

If it is, check your junk/spam folder to make sure our emails aren’t hiding in there.
How do I manage multiple subscriptions?
1. How do I see all my subscriptions? It's easy to manage multiple subscriptions within your account.

Simply log in, click 'My Subscriptions', and here you'll find a list of all of your subscriptions (active, paused or cancelled). Double-click the subscription that you would like to update and it will take you directly to the dashboard for that subscription.

2. What can I do with multiple subscriptions? You are able to have several subscriptions on your account at once to suit your needs.

> Receiving two deliveries each week: If you would like to receive several deliveries each week on different days, you are able to do this by having a subscription for each day of the week that you would like to receive pasta. You are able to manage these as you wish by logging into your account, going to 'My Subscriptions', and double- clicking the subscription that you would like to edit/update.

> Sending frequent deliveries to multiple addresses: If you would like to send deliveries to multiple addresses, you are able to do this by having a subscription for each of the addresses that you would like us to deliver to.

To make any changes to any of these subscriptions simply log into your account, go to 'My Subscriptions', and double-click the subscription that you would like to edit/update.

My discount code isn't working
Some common reasons your discount code may not be working include:

1. It may have expired. Many codes automatically expire after a certain time when an offer has ended.

2. You may be an existing customer attempting to use a code reserved for new customers

If you're still having a problem using a discount code, please contact our customer support at chef@pastaevangelists.com.
How do I add my referral reward credit?
You are able to add your referral code to your account by logging in, clicking ‘Store Credits’, and then entering your unique referral code.

This should update the total on your account, and show automatically.

When placing your next order, our system will automatically deduct from your store credit first, and any outstanding balance will be taken from your authorised payment method.

Having issues with your gift code at checkout? Sign up for a Pasta Evangelists account using the link below and then contact our customer care team. They will be able to apply your gift code to your account as store credit on your behalf.

How do gift subscriptions work?
When the recipient activates their gift subscription by contacting our customer support team, we'll add gift credits equivalent to the original purchase amount to their Pasta Evangelists account. These gift credits which will be deducted over time as the recipient's pasta deliveries occur.

HOW IS CORONAVIRUS AFFECTING PASTA EVANGELISTS?
1. Is the Pasta Evangelists service affected by coronavirus? You will still be able to order from us just like before. The only change is we no longer require you to sign for the delivery.

2. What is Pasta Evangelists doing to protect against coronavirus? The safety of our employees and our customers’ health is always our number one priority. We have created a number of extra health and safety measures to ensure that we adhere to all government-issued guidelines at all times.

3. Can coronavirus be spread through food? There is no evidence of transmission through food.

4. Can I have a contactless delivery? Yes. Simply leave a note in your delivery instructions when placing an order to inform the driver where you would like your pasta to be left.
Can I cancel or amend my order?
We require at least 48 hours notice in order to cancel or amend an order. Please call us on 0203 828 7042 and we can assist you further with this.
