“Nowhere encapsulates the spirit of Italy quite like the Amalfi Coast”, suggest the makers of Malfy gin. Quite right, too. The Costiera Amalfitana is a living postcard, the soft azure of the enviable Mediterranean sea endlessly picturesque - a shimmering expanse - its soft lapping waves a gentle yet relaxing whisper in the air. Is it the ‘laid back spirit’ of the Amalfi Coast that lured the creators of Malfy gin to the region, and in turn inspired the stunning spirit that serves as the basis of this refreshing summer spritz.
“Distilled with some of the finest botanicals including handpicked juniper, Italian lemons, pink grapefruits, oranges and blended with Italian water”, Malfy gin is a taste of the Italian coast, and, naturally, serves as the perfect tipple to pay homage to the gem of Campania, Amalfi.
Malfy Gin Rosa is a bright and refreshing gin, showcasing sweet and tart Italian lemons and fresh Sicilian pink grapefruit. It also lends its enticing pink hue to the Amalfy Sunset Spritz, Malfy’s take on the classic Spritz cocktail. This light and fruity gin is blended with blood orange soda and fizz, and garnished with juicy oranges and strawberries, and fragrant thyme. Summer in a glass, this tipple is perfect for a long afternoon, whiled away on the sun-drenched cliffs of Amalfitana. While we may not be able to visit just yet, allow the Amalfy sunset spritz to transport you - vicariously - to the summer destination.
