Soon after appearing on Dragons’ Den we were inundated with hungry viewers, eager to find out whether our authentic fresh pasta tasted as good as it looked. Our co-founders Alessandro (CEO and MD) and Finn (Head of Marketing) teamed up to face the Dragons, armed with some of our finest fresh pasta dishes. Fortunately, our pasta went down a storm, with Deborah Meaden describing it as ‘delicious.’
While the panel decided it wasn’t the right opportunity at the time, it soon became apparent that quite a few pasta lovers were watching Dragon’s Den that evening, and even more tuned in online to catch up! We calculate that around 1% of that evening’s viewers visited the Pasta Evangelists website straight after. This resulted in our sales almost doubling shortly after the episode was broadcast in August. Talk about silver linings…
