Visit Tuscany
Tuscan pasta tasting. Land in Italy in style with a welcome feast of Tuscan delicacies. Sample the hand-rolled pici pasta of Siena, savour the slow-braised wild boar ragù of the Maremma hinterland or taste the special crop of Tuscany, cavolo nero, nestled in a freshly made ravioli. "Taste of Amalfi" pasta tasting. Arrive in the land where lemons grow with a summer feast featuring the bright, zippy flavours of the Amalfi peninsula. Try courgette and scamorza tortelloni from Sorrento, paccheri al limone from Amalfi and a rich tomato-ey Puttanesca from Napoli. Pre-order your Amalfi tasting here. Sardinian pasta tasting. Close your eyes and imagine you are standing under the shadow of olive trees. Feel the summery mountain breeze and the sun on your cheek. Smell the salty ocean air and the scent of wild flora. Let us welcome you to Sardinia with a pasta tasting. Best enjoyed as a leisurely lunch, sample the flavours of the island: from the freshest lobster to the delicate local cheese, a sheep's milk cheese called Pecorino Sardo, to the most vibrant red peppers, slow roasted until charred and fragrant. Gnocchetti Sardi masterclass **plus learn Sardu! Learn to make malloreddus, or “gnocchetti sardi” a versatile shell shaped pasta famous on the island of Sardinia. This class will feature a special appearance from our very own Maria, a Sardinian native, who will be teaching some of her favourite words in Sardu. Sicilian pasta tasting. Continue your Italian island hopping with a visit to Sicily, a sparkling gem nestled in the Mediterranean, which marries the simplicity of Southern Italian cooking with Moorish influences from Northern Africa. Don’t miss the Pesto Trapanese, Sicily's take on pesto, made with tomatoes and almonds, and Pasta "Salsiccia e Finocchietto", a white sauce made with rich fennel-infused sausage meat. Puglian pasta tasting. Let’s jump back to mainland, to the fertile red earth of Puglia. Known for its distinctively rustic charm, the Puglian landscape is dotted with hill top towns, millions of olive trees and idyllic farmland. Venetian pasta tasting. Let us welcome you to Venice with a pasta tasting fit for a king. How about trying a slow-cooked duck ragu, one of the few prized meat dishes in a region famed for its seafood, or chewy strands of bigoli pasta which we serve “in salsa”, a famous Venetian pasta dressing made simply with olives and anchovies. Ligurian pasta tasting. Ever wondered which dishes first inspired our founder Alessandro to begin his little pasta business? We invite you to join us in Liguria, home to beautiful fishing villages, stylish Portofino and the port city of Genova, where Alessandro grew up making pasta with his nonna. Sample two spectacular pestos: a classic pesto alla genovese, made with fresh basil, and salsa di noce, a lesser-known walnut pesto which is a speciality of the Liguria region.
