Date: Saturday 16th January
Time: 14:00 - 15:00
Location: Zoom Video
Designed for enthusiastic vegan home cooks, this masterclass will teach you how to master the basics of "pasta bianca" (egg-free pasta), where only flour and water is used, in the authentic Italian tradition. Included in this class is a bespoke pasta making kit, with all the necessary equipment required for you to create handmade pasta at home.
Although the rising popularity of vegan dishes may appear to be a modern phenomenon, vegan pasta has actually existed in Italy for centuries. In this masterclass, our head sfogline will teach you how to make orecchiette with a fresh tomato sauce. orecchiette literally translates to “little ears” - inspired by its shape hence why they are perfect for catching sauce. Originally, from Puglia, just like our chef Roberta, you will learn the art of pasta-making like it would be taught in Italy.
