Date: Saturday 10th April
Time: 12:00 - 13:00
Location: Zoom Video
In this masterclass, our head sfogline will teach you how to make orecchiette with a fresh tomato sauce. orecchiette literally translates to “little ears” - inspired by its shape hence why they are perfect for catching sauce. Originally, from Puglia, just like our chef Roberta, you will learn the art of pasta-making like it would be taught in Italy. This masterclass is also suitable for Vegans. Whilst the rising popularity of vegan dishes may appear to be a modern phenomenon, vegan pasta has actually existed in Italy for centuries. Especially in the south, where expensive items such as eggs were not commonplace amongst kitchens.
What's included in this class?
- A very special Pugliese masterclass where you will craft orecchiette with a fresh tomato sauce.
- Learn the techniques for making fresh pasta at home by hand, no special tools or machines required
- Enjoy a virtual supper club with your new friends at the end of the class (optional!)
