We'd like to invite you to a Taste of Campania digital pasta masterclass, intimately hosted by our Head Chef Roberta from her own kitchen in Berkshire.
In this session, you'll learn to make gnocchi by hand in the authentic Italian tradition passed down in Italy through the centuries.
You’ll start by discovering more about Campania and its regional traditions from Roberta and what the cooking of this part of Italy means to her. You'll then learn how to make the classic pillows of gnocchi plus a delicious sauce with which to dress them.
- 1 small egg + 150g white flour + 500g potato (already boiled)
For the Caprese sauce: [will serve 2]
- 250g passata or tinned tomatoes
- 75g mozzarella (or Fior di Latte if you can)
- 1/2 clove garlic
- Fresh basil
- 3 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt & pepper
- A rolling pin (if you don’t have one, a bottle of wine would make a very authentic substitute!)

- Cling film
- Pestle & Mortar
If you cannot get the ingredients to make the filling or sauce, just let Roberta know what you have sitting in your fridge/pantry and she will guide you through an alternative using what you have available.

Please note that, in order to preserve the intimacy of the event, we can welcome 1 person per ticket purchased to the digital event. We will have a maximum of 10 guests per digital event.
