Date: Friday 4th September 2020
Location: Zoom Video
In this very special online pasta masterclass, our head chef Roberta d'Elia will be joined by her mamma - a real life Italian nonna - live from their farm in Puglia to co-host & teach a class covering some of the most traditional pasta shapes of Southern Italy.
Specifically, the class will cover 'pasta bianca' – or 'white pasta' – coming from Puglia, the home region of Roberta and her mother. You'll learn how to make the traditional Pugliese shapes: orecchiette, strascinati, troccoli. Roberta and her mother will also take you through making filled pasta shapes featuring a delicious vegetable and ricotta filling.
At the end of the class, you’ll be able to enjoy dining on your very own creations, allowing you to evoke the feeling of Italy at home.
How it works: You will require access to Zoom video calling and a webcam. The day before the event you will be sent a Zoom link via email. If you have not received your Zoom link, please contact email@example.com.
Roberta will send details of the recipe and necessary ingredients 48hrs before the class date.
Please note that, in order to preserve the intimacy of the event, we can welcome 1 person per ticket purchased to the digital event. We will have a maximum of 12 guests per digital event.
We highly recommend booking your tickets in advance. For any other questions regarding the event, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
