In fact, this orange-fleshed vegetable occupies the status as a key component of many traditional Venetian dishes, known in particular for its distinctly sweet flavour and mineral- rich health properties.
Our heart ravioli, or perhaps more romantically, cuoricini- translated as "little hearts", are bursting with a rich ricotta and silky spinach filling, and completed by a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese. Bellissimo.
