Date: Saturday 2nd May 2020
Time: 14:30 - 15:30
Location: Zoom Video
We'd like to invite your little one(s) to a digital pasta masterclass, intimately hosted by Roberta from her own kitchen in Biggleswade, the small, picturesque town in Berkshire that she calls home.
In this session, the bambini will learn to make fresh pasta from scratch. Roberta, our head chef, herself learned how to make pasta from her nonna as a little girl and will be passing on these secrets to our next generation of little pasta chefs!
Roberta will be teaching how to make fresh pici pasta, a hand-rolled pasta that looks a little like fat spaghetti! It is super fun to make and perfect for beginners. You'll then learn how to make a classic Italian tomato sauce.
A couple of days before class, you'll receive an email letting you know what you need for the event. The only key items are flour (ideally 00, but plain white flour is totally fine too) and eggs. If you follow a plant-based diet, you can use semolina and water. If you cannot get the ingredients to make the sauce, just let Roberta know what you have sitting in your fridge/pantry and she will guide you through an alternative Italian sauce using what you have available.
You will also require access to Zoom video calling and a webcam. More information will be included by email.
Please note that, in order to preserve the intimacy of the event, we can welcome 1 adult to per ticket purchased to accompany your child during the digital event. We will have a maximum of 10 guests per digital event.
We highly recommend booking your tickets in advance. For any other questions regarding the event, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
