Italy – a country not only known for its glorious pasta but also for its superior chocolate-making credentials. And so, what better way of marrying together these two divinely indulgent treats than in one decadent "Cioccolato" Pasta Masterclass?
Under the guidance of our Head Sfoglina (pasta artisan) Roberta d'Elia, you will learn how to use superior Italian "cacao" to create a delicacy favoured by cooking queens Nigella Lawson & Anna del Conte - cocoa-infused "sfoglia" (pasta dough).
Roberta will teach you two authentic chocolate pasta recipes which - in Italy - are traditionally paired with savoury filling & garnish, from strong, aged cheese and rich nuts to buttery, soft "melanzane" (aubergine). You will be working with traditional methods, handmade Pasta Evangelists beechwood tools and specialist Italian ingredients.
Enjoy a complimentary beer from on arrival - or a soft drink of your choice - before rolling your hands up and getting stuck in! At the end of the class, you'll be able to take home the pasta you've made to treat family & friends, along with a selection of authentic Italian recipes so you can re-create the chocolate dough time and time again at home.
