Date: Sunday 3rd May 2020
Time: 14:00 - 15:00
Location: Zoom Video
We'd like to invite you to a digital pasta masterclass, intimately hosted by our Head Chef Roberta from her own kitchen in Berkshire.
In this session, you'll learn to make pasta by hand in the authentic, artisan tradition passed down in Italy through the centuries. Roberta originates in Puglia, in the Italian South, where she learned how to make pasta from her nonna as a little girl.
You’ll start by discovering more about Italy and its regional traditions from Roberta and what Italian cooking means to her. You'll then learn how to make the classic pillows of gnocchi plus a delicious pesto sauce with which to dress them.
A couple of days before class, you'll receive an email letting you know what you need for the event. The only key item for gnocchi is flour (ideally 00, but plain white flour or semolina is totally fine too), and you can make gnocchi with or without potato. If you cannot get the ingredients for the sauce, just let Roberta know what you have sitting in your fridge/pantry and she will guide you through an alternative using what you have available.
You will also require access to Zoom video calling and a webcam. More information will be included by email.
Please note that, in order to preserve the intimacy of the event, we can welcome 1 person per ticket purchased to the digital event. We will have a maximum of 10 guests per digital event.
We highly recommend booking your tickets in advance. For any other questions regarding the event, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
