Date: Sunday 12th April 2020
Time: 12:00 - 13:00
Location: Zoom Video
If in recent days you may have tuned into one of our bitesize 20 minute #PauseForPasta sessions on Instagram. Led by Head Chef Roberta, we've been bringing the art of fresh pasta-making into your home. This time, we'd like to invite you to our first ever digital pasta masterclass, intimately hosted by Roberta from her own kitchen in Biggleswade, the small, picturesque town in Berkshire that she calls home.
This will also be the first opportunity for those of you living outside of London to partake in a masterclass - as a small business we haven't managed to make it out of the capital yet for our physical masterclasses, so we hope to welcome guests from far & wide in this limited edition digital series (Londoners very welcome too, though, of course!)
In this session, you'll learn to make fresh hand in the authentic, artisan tradition passed down in Italy through the centuries. Roberta, our head chef, originates in Puglia, in the Italian South, where she learned how to make pasta from her nonna as a little girl.
After purchasing, you'll receive an email letting you know what you need for the event. The only key items are flour (ideally 00, but plain white flour is totally fine too) and eggs. If you follow a plant-based diet, you can use semolina and water.
You will also require access to Zoom video calling and a webcam. More information will be included by email.
Please note that, in order to preserve the intimacy of the event, we can welcome 1 person per ticket purchased to the digital event. We will have a maximum of 10 guests per digital event.
We highly recommend booking your tickets in advance. For any other questions regarding the event, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
